My husband who is a professional driver really enjoys his new sunglasses. These are a little lighter in weight that his previous pair which he had for 17 years. So I was please when I found they were still avialble.

I've been thinking about a pair of ray-bans for awhile now, and I finally tried some on in a department store recently. I really wanted the black New Wayfarers, but of course because I went shopping with my mother, she had me convinced I needed polarized(otherwise you'll always hear that nagging little voice in your head). While I have no problem with polarized, I was not a fan of the 50 price difference.
I found this pair on Amazon(directly from Amazon, not a 3rd party seller) for LESS then the un-polarized and I ordered them thinking they'd be too good to be true, that there was a problem with the listing. But NO! It was all correct. I love them even more at the price I snagged them.
A note on fit. I knew the color etc I wanted but had no clue there was 52mm and 55mm. Since they were only at this price in 52mm, I took the chance. They actually fit me perfectly. I'm (almost)30, with a round face and usually what I consider a big head. But the classic Wayfarers are just HUGE and make me look funny. So if the New Wayfarer style works better for you, the 52mm might just be your size. |

Even though I love shades -whether it's for fashion purpose or shield my eyes from intense sunlight- I was never too happy with any brand I tried on. I wasn't too content with how the majority shades looked on me and I even got to own some ridiculous overpriced Oakley's at one point.
I have been an owner of these new wayfarers for a short period of time and I couldn't be happier. From the very first time I tried them on I never considered them expensive because it would be worth every penny. They look really good on anyone and its style will never get old. Also, on a bright sunny day they actually do prevent from the sun hitting your eyes, something that other shades unfortunately don't do.
I'm one very happy customer and a new Ray Ban worshiper.

There was no surprise when these sunglasses arrived. They were what we had been waiting for.
The quality of glasses and frame is great, no doubt. They are a little heavy so don't expect super light
shades. They were a present for my teenage son who loved them ( after using a cheap and bad copy for months
these Ray Bans were what he had been looking for!) |
